Our journey with Dance Casa Festival began in Kyiv, Ukraine. After the resounding success of our Gala night, which my dear friend Ruben Ruiz, Anass Zouhir and I co-organized, we felt an irresistible urge to elevate the event into something more expansive and enduring. Our vision was to put a spotlight on the burgeoning talents of Ukraine, rather than solely relying on established stars, ensuring that our local talent received the recognition they deserved. Drawing from the lessons gleaned from our initial endeavor, we embarked on an even grander venture, featuring luminaries from France and beyond. Despite encountering success, our plans for the April edition in Ukraine were abruptly disrupted by the onset of war, prompting us to shift our operations to Budapest. Undeterred by the challenges we faced, our debut year in Hungary surpassed all expectations, spurring us to significantly expand the scale of our festival. Our objective remains crystal clear: to champion talent across all three dance styles, offering artists a platform to truly shine.
