Dance Casa Festival is collaborating with the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council (BZDC) for its 1st official Brazilian Zouk Dance Council Jack & Jill Competition in Budapest. All of our Brazilian Zouk Jack & Jill divisions will operate under the official Brazilian Zouk Dance Council rules, scoring system, and ranking structure. Participants earn Brazilian Zouk Dance Council points that are recorded and recognised globally.

Do I need a Dance Casa Full Pass to compete in the BZDC Jack & Jill?

(Yes — mandatory.)

Is the Jack & Jill ticket refundable or transferable?

(Only if the Flex Ticket add-on was purchased under the same email and while following the flex tickets rules)

Which divisions will be available for the BZDC Jack & Jill at Dance Casa?

(Novice→ Intermediate → Advanced → All-Star, following BZDC structure.)

How are partners assigned for the Jack & Jill competition?

(Completely random — you register individually and get paired on the spot.)

Who selects the music for the competition rounds?

(Music will be selected by Dance Casa according to BZDC rules.)

What scoring system will be used?

(Official BZDC scoring, globally recognised and ranked.)

Will I earn official BZDC points by competing at Dance Casa?

(Yes — all points will be added to the global Brazilian Zouk Dance Council database.)

What level should I register for?

(Your current BZDC points define your level. If you have no points, you follow the “Newcomer/Novice → Beginner” structure.)

Is the competition open to dancers from any country?

(Yes — the BZDC Jack & Jill at Dance Casa is open internationally.)

Do I need a partner to sign up?

(No — Jack & Jill is strictly individual registration.)
